It’s hot. It’s really hot. The sort of hot where the air disappears and the only sensible thing to do is sit on a beach, paddle in the sea, or jump in the nearest fountain.
It reminds me of the time I spent in Tenerife, only a little more muggy and a little more hayfevery.
Living near the sea was one of the best things about Tenerife. You could hear it from my flat, and a five minute walk down the road and you could be dancing in it (if that was how the mood took you). So today’s desktop wallpaper is adapted from one of my long exposure photographs taken at the local harbour.
I love long exposure photographs of water, the way it becomes misty, magical. And looking at it makes me feel just the tiniest bit cooler.
